OpusMagus Academy ("the Academy", "we", "us") is operated by Opus Magus ApS, 2300 København S, Denmark, CVR number 34206198. You can reach us at support@opusmagus.com, or through the contact form in the Academy. These terms form the agreement between you and us when you create an account, or buy a course or a subscription.
You are buying a personal licence to access online course material — text, images, audio narration, quizzes and related features — for as long as your purchase or subscription entitles you to it. You are not buying the material itself, a physical product, or any form of tuition, mentoring or support beyond the features present in the Academy.
Your licence is personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable. You may study the material and keep reasonable personal notes. You may not:
We may suspend or close an account that breaches this section, and we may withhold a refund where a breach has occurred.
You sign in with an external provider such as Google, Microsoft, Facebook or Amazon. We never receive or store your password with those providers. One account is for one person. Keep your sign-in secure; you are responsible for activity under your account.
Prices are shown before you pay. Payment is handled by our payment processor, and we never receive or store your card details. Where sales tax or VAT applies, it is calculated and shown at checkout. If a price is displayed incorrectly through an obvious error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than supply at that price.
A subscription renews automatically for the period you chose until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal in your account. Cancelling stops future charges and leaves your access running until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not pro-rate part-periods.
If you are a consumer, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital content without giving a reason.
Because access is granted immediately, you are asked to agree that we may begin supplying the content at once, and to acknowledge that once access begins you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal. If you would rather keep the right, do not open the course; contact us within 14 days instead and we will refund you.
Nothing in these terms removes rights you have by law that cannot be waived, including for content that is faulty, not as described, or never delivered.
If a course is broken, not as described, or you cannot access what you paid for, tell us and we will fix it or refund you. Outside that, refunds are at our discretion, and we will normally decline one where the material has been substantially consumed. Refunds go back to the original payment method. Subscription periods already used are not refundable.
We aim to keep the Academy available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access, and we may take it down for maintenance. Courses are revised over time: chapters, audio and quizzes may be added, corrected or replaced, and we may retire a course. If we retire a course you bought outright, we will give you reasonable notice to finish it.
The material is for education. It is not professional, legal, financial or engineering advice, and it is not a substitute for official documentation. Courses that prepare you for a certification exam are study material only: we are not the certifying body, we do not supply exam questions, and we do not promise that you will pass, qualify, or achieve any particular result. Decisions you take based on the material are your own.
Product names, certification names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe what a course is about. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or certified by any of those owners.
All course material, wording, images, audio, structure and branding remain ours or our licensors'. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership to you.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data, or loss arising from your reliance on the material. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded — including your statutory rights as a consumer.
We keep the minimum needed to run your account, your entitlements and your progress. See the privacy notice for detail, and for how to delete your account and data.
We may update these terms. The version is dated at the top, and a substantive change means you are asked to agree again the next time you sign in. Changes do not apply retrospectively to a purchase you have already made.
These terms are governed by Danish law, and the Danish courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the EU, this does not remove the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your own country, nor your right to bring a claim there. Please contact us first — most problems are settled that way.
