When you sign in via Google, Facebook, or Amazon, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture URL from the provider. We do not receive or store your password.
Your information is used solely to identify your account, track your course progress, and display your name in the app. We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising.
Your progress, quiz scores, badges, and preferences are stored securely. During development, data is stored locally. In production, data is stored in AWS DynamoDB in the EU (Frankfurt) region.
You may request deletion of all your data at any time by visiting our data deletion page or emailing privacy@opusmagus.com. We will delete your data within 30 days.
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. If, and only if, you say yes to ad measurement, we also load the Meta Pixel and the LinkedIn Insight Tag, which set their own cookies so we can see which of our ads bring visitors and sign-ups. Saying no loads neither, and you can change your choice any time under "Cookie settings" at the bottom of the page.
We use social sign-in providers (Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Meta) for authentication only. Their privacy policies apply to data they collect during sign-in. With your consent, Meta and LinkedIn receive page views, sign-ups and purchases from our pages through their ad-measurement tags; their privacy policies apply to that data.
